Personalized resection and reconstruction in bone tumor

The project will investigate whether there are possibilities to repair bone defects that lie outside biological repair after tumor, trauma, infection.

The expected results include:

  • Learn to use: End users are trained and educated based on the experiences of 3DLab-driven projects and experiences of orthopaedics users.
  • New, non-existent, solutions for major resections of the limbs using the patient-specific implant workflow will be developed according to the highest EU MDR quality and safty standards and applied and validated in the clinical setting.
  • Digitization of the evaluation of these implants: intraoperative and postoperative evaluation of accuracy and success
